Served as Baptist Minister / Circuit Preacher. Wrote History of the Brooks of Union Co,
NC, History of the Rocky River Baptist Church and numerous other scholarly
works including articles in the Baptist Journals of the times. Rev. E. M. Brooks also hosted many Brooks
family reunions and prepared the history of our family in 1925. Picture taken c1925.
