The following is an article found in my grandfather's papers concerning the first Brooks Reunion in 1909. Reverand Edgar Marcelus Brooks planned these reunions and also wrote the Brooks of Union Co, NC in 1925 as a result of all the research done by those on the committee mentioned in this article. This article is signed "VISITOR." Well, don't let my grandfather fool you! He was a modest man.
