Claude Sylvester Brooks, born Feb 22 1910-died 1937 in Wilmington, North Carolina. He was working in the ship yard during the war, caught pneumonia and died. He is buried at Mineral Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Oakboro, North Carolina, Eva Elizabeth Brooks"Lizzy"(Claude's sister)born Feb 4 1897-died Aug 4 1973. She married Titus Webster Huneycutt, her second marriage was to Roy Love. Grandpa "Jim" Brooks(James H. Brooks)(Claude's father). He was the son of John Brooks and Margaret Brooks, born July 17 1868 - died Oct 5 1951. He married Rebecca Austin. They are buried at Mineral Springs Baptist Church. Unknown But it is one of the Brooks sister. William Lee Brooks (Claude's brother) born Feb 26 1891-died May 4 1973. He married Minnie Louretta Goodman. Pictures and caption supplied by Lori Love.
